Empty. Log K1ABC to see rate.

03 — Tactical logging

Capture QSOs faster than pen and paper.

Call entry, UTC, RST, and DUPE on one line. The console is built for a pileup, a summit wind, and a glove. If you can type the call, the QSO is already written.

04 — Space weather intelligence

Let data choose the best band.

SFI, K-index, A-index, and the greyline are not a sidebar. They drive which band Log73 puts under your fingers next.

05 — AI decision engine

Know exactly what to work next.

Band openings, park hunts, and the next bird. The engine reads your log, the clock, and the ionosphere — then points.

06 — CAT control

Full radio control in your pocket.

IC-705, KX3, G90, FT-891. Frequency and mode belong to the radio. The log never asks you to retype what the VFO already knows.

07 — Satellite operations

Track the sky in real time.

ISS, AO-91, SO-50. AOS, TCA, LOS, footprint, and a SAT-mode log that LOTW accepts without a second editor.

08 — Offline power

Built for places without internet.

Local storage is the source of truth. Recovery snapshots survive a dead battery. Sync is a replica you turn on when you get a path.

09 — Global operations map

A control center for worldwide radio operations.

Parks, summits, greyline, aurora, HF paths, satellites, CQ zones, Maidenhead. Switch 2D and 3D without leaving the desk.

10 — Platform

Every surface of a field operation. One OS.

Tactical logging

Call, RST, grid, DUPE, and UTC at type speed. The log is a weapon, not a form.

AI decision engine

Next band, next park, next bird. Recommendations from live space weather and your log.

GNSS grids

Maidenhead from the phone GNSS. Distance and azimuth on every callsign.

Satellite ops

ISS, AO-91, SO-50. AOS to LOS with Doppler cues and SAT ADIF.

CAT control

IC-705, KX3, G90, FT-891. Frequency and mode belong to the radio and the log together.

FT8 companion

Decoder-speed capture beside WSJT-X. Grids you never retype.

CW-first rate

A log that keeps up with a paddle. Macros, RST, and DUPE without looking down.

POTA native

Park references, hunter/activator roles, and ten-QSO status on the line.

SOTA native

Summit codes, points, and glove-sized targets on the cone.

Cloud when you say

Encrypted sync is a replica. Offline is the source of truth.

ADIF & Cabrillo

LOTW, Club Log, POTA, Field Day. Exports that robots accept the first time.

Field security

On-device encryption, snapshots, and no log hostage to a login page.

Localization

Operators are global. The OS speaks more than one language — and still UTC.

11 — Product

Four skins. One log. Any light.

Dark for the shack. Phosphor for the field. Red for night vision. Vintage when you want the radio to feel like 1958 and log like 2026.

12 — Field programs

Built for the field. Not a vanity count.

Log73 is in field trial. These are the programs it is built for — not a fake user metric, not borrowed callsigns.

FD

Field Day

POTA

No cell at the picnic table

The logger that needs LTE dies at the gate. Log73 writes the QSO on the device. Spots wait.

SOTA

Gloves, wind, a 10-pointer

Summit logging is a thumb problem. Large targets, UTC on the line, DUPE before you work the same chaser twice.

CAT

The radio already knows the frequency

IC-705, KX3, G90, FT-891. If the VFO has 14.062, the log should not ask you to type it.

SAT

AOS is not a calendar reminder

ISS and LEO passes are a timeline. SAT_NAME and SAT_MODE belong in the ADIF, not a comment.

FD

Dupe is not a suggestion

Field Day collapses when the sheet is late. Class, section, and identity at type speed — Cabrillo on Monday.

QRP

The laptop stays home

A 705 plus a phone is a station. Log73 is built so the computer in your pocket is enough.

13 — Comparison

Paper is honest. The cloud is late. Log73 is first.

15 — FAQ

Straight answers.

Can I download Log73 from the App Store today?+

Not yet. Log73 is in a controlled field trial. Request access with your email and callsign. When a slot opens, we send credentials — there is no fake store button.

Is Log73 just another ham radio logbook?+

No. Log73 is a tactical operations layer: logging, GNSS, CAT, space weather, satellites, and offline sync in one OS. The log is the core, not the product.

Does it work without internet?+

Yes. Logging, DUPE, GPS grids, CAT, and cached satellite elements run on the device. Sync and spots resume when you have a path.

Which radios are supported?+

Field CAT profiles ship for Icom IC-705, Elecraft KX2/KX3, Xiegu G90, and Yaesu FT-891, with ADIF-friendly operation for any radio.

Can I export to LOTW, POTA, and Club Log?+

ADIF and Cabrillo export from the device. SAT, park, and summit fields are included so the upload is not a second project.

Is there a desktop version?+

The same log and operations map are built for phone, tablet, and desktop. Field-first, shack-capable. Trial slots open by surface.

How is this different from HAMRS or QRZ Logbook?+

HAMRS is a capable portable logger. QRZ is a cloud logbook. Log73 is the operations system around the log: AI band choice, CAT, satellites, and offline as the default.

Do you support WWFF and contesting?+

WWFF references, Field Day exchange, and contest DUPE/Cabrillo are in the same OS as POTA and SOTA.

What happens if the app is killed mid-activation?+

Every QSO is written locally as it is entered. Recovery snapshots restore the activation if the process dies.
