GNSS & grids

Ham radio GPS that writes the grid for you.

Maidenhead from GNSS, park and summit geofence, distance and azimuth on every call. Log73 is the GPS layer serious field operators expected and never got.

Try the console

Grid to six characters

FN42pr, not a guess. The log inherits the lock you had at QSO time, even if you walk.

Azimuth and range

Every callsign returns distance and bearing from your actual position, not a QRZ zip code.

Geofenced references

Walk into K-4556 and the park is on the log line. Leave, and Log73 knows.

Works without maps tiles

The operations map degrades to grid and vector layers when basemaps cannot load.

Questions

Does Log73 use the phone GPS?

Yes. GNSS is first-class. Grids are computed on device and stored with the QSO.

What if GPS is denied in a canyon?

Enter a grid manually. The rest of the log — DUPE, radio, weather — keeps working.
