Summit references on the log line
Association, summit code, points, and activation status without a second app or a laminated sheet.
Summits on the Air
Summit logging that weighs nothing and misses nothing.
Log73 is the SOTA companion for activators who hike with a KX2 or 705 and chasers who live on the cluster. Offline, GPS-aware, and fast enough to log with gloves on.
Built for glove-and-wind entry
Large call field, UTC, and one-thumb band/mode. The log keeps up with a CW run at 18 wpm.
Chaser mode
Spot-aware hunting with distance, azimuth, and DUPE so you do not work the same summit twice on the same band.
Offline on the cone
No LTE on most 10-point peaks. Log73 never assumed there would be.
Questions
Does Log73 replace SOTA Goat?
Log73 is the tactical log and radio OS. Summit references and GPS live here; you still submit activations through the SOTA program as required.
Will it run on a phone in the cold?
The UI includes a red-night theme and oversized targets. Logging is local, so a dying cell radio does not take the log with it.
