KX3 CAT without a shack PC
VFO, mode, and power land in the log. PX3 and KXPA100 operators keep a single QSO stream.
Elecraft KX3
KX3 logging for operators who already travel light.
The KX3 is a complete HF station in a hill bag. Log73 is the log and CAT layer that respects that: small, offline, precise.
CW-first rate
The KX3 is a CW instrument. Log73’s call entry and DUPE are built for a paddle, not a microphone club meeting.
Summit-proof storage
Write the QSO before you pack the KX3. Snapshots survive the descent.
QRP DX intelligence
Greyline and K-index recommendations when 5 watts needs a path, not hope.
Questions
Is KX2 supported as well?
Yes. Elecraft portable CAT profiles cover KX2 and KX3 field stations.
Can I log while running a KX3 macro?
CAT follows the radio. You operate; Log73 records.
